Booking a family photoshoot in Jerusalem can be exciting, but it often comes with a lot of questions—especially if it’s your first time. Whether you’re new to outdoor photography sessions or a seasoned pro looking for stunning locations in Israel, knowing what to expect can make the process smoother and more enjoyable. As a seasoned family photographer in Jerusalem, I've put together this comprehensive guide to help you prepare for your session and ensure you know what to expect every step of the way.

Before Your Session

Payment Options

I aim to make payments as convenient as possible. Currently, I accept cash, PayPal, and Bit (bank transfer). Please note, I do not accept Zelle or Venmo at this time.

Where I Work and Travel

I’m based in the vibrant city of Jerusalem, Israel, and specialize in family photography sessions. I offer outdoor photoshoots throughout Jerusalem as part of my Basic Package. If you’re dreaming of a location a bit further out, the Premium Package includes travel to any outdoor spot within an hour of Jerusalem.

The Best Time for Your Photoshoot

Timing is everything in photography. The coveted "Golden Hour" — one hour before sunset — offers the most stunning natural light for your photos. However, the best time ultimately depends on when you and your family feel most relaxed and ready.

What to Wear

For a timeless look, opt for clean, solid colors. Patterns like stripes or polka dots can be distracting in photos, so it’s best to keep it simple.

What to Bring

If you’re bringing kids along, pack filling snacks to keep them energized throughout the session. Avoid candy, as it can lead to sticky fingers and sugar crashes.

Rescheduling Policy

Life happens, and I understand the need to reschedule occasionally. My Late & Cancellation Policy, linked in the website footer, allows for rescheduling without penalty up to 24 hours before your session.

During Your Session

Outfit Changes

Want to bring a few different outfits? Go for it! This is your time, and you’re welcome to use it as you wish.

Poses

There’s no limit to the number of poses we can try during your session. My goal is to make the most of the time we have together.

Overtime Availability

If we’re having a fantastic time and need a little extra, I’m happy to go overtime if my schedule permits. Additional time is billed at a prorated rate.

After Your Session

When You’ll Receive Unedited Photos

Within two business days of your photoshoot, you’ll have online access to your unedited photos. These are for viewing purposes only and cannot be downloaded.

The Selection and Editing Process

Once you have access to your photos, you’ll have up to 10 days to select your favorites. Simply click the heart icon on the ones you’d like me to edit.

All photos receive standard edits, including color enhancement and lighting correction. If you’re looking for something extra, here’s what I offer:

  • Free additional edits: Black & white conversions, object removal

  • Premium edits (20₪ each): Face swapping

How Many Photos Can You Choose?

The number of photos included for editing depends on the package you select. You can always check the details on my Pricing Page. If you’d like more photos edited than your package allows, additional edits are available at just ₪10 per photo.

Timeline for Edited Photos

Once you’ve chosen your favorites, I’ll get to work. Your edited photos will be ready within two weeks.

Receiving Your Final Photos

Your edited photos will be delivered through an online gallery, where you can download and print them at your convenience. While I don’t offer printing services, I’m happy to recommend trusted vendors.

Social Media Sharing

I respect your privacy. Your photos will never be shared on social media without your explicit permission. That said, I often offer discounts to clients who allow me to post their photos online—something to keep in mind!

Advanced Edits

Need major Photoshop work like face-swapping? I’m happy to help for an additional fee of ₪20 per edit.
